On August 6th, the 27th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition National Finals, hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, came to a successful conclusion. Our college won a total of 15 national awards, including 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 excellence awards, achieving an unprecedented glorious result in recent years!
This year's China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition has attracted over 1,200 teams from top universities, including Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Shandong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, University of Aerospace Engineering, and Central South University. Engage in technical exchanges, discussions and intense competitions around the application and practice of cutting-edge technologies in Apollo's autonomous driving, robotics, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and other fields.
In the artificial intelligence innovation track, under the guidance of teachers Zhao Yuefeng and Hu Nannan, our college's postgraduate students Tao Qianqian, Sun Pengfei and Yang Xiuming won the first prize at the national level with their project "Intelligent Visual Aid System Driven by Multimodal Interaction". Under the guidance of Teacher Zhao Yuefeng, postgraduate students Wang Qifei, Chen Bolin and Wang Junjie won the first prize at the national level for their project "Intelligent Orthopedic Diagnosis and Treatment System Based on Multimodal and Large Language Models". Under the guidance of Teacher Leng Yan, postgraduate students Zhang Jiatai, Shen Can and Tang Qi won the first prize at the national level for their project "Intelligent Question Generation System for Large Models". In addition, our college also had 12 other teams that performed splendidly at the final site and won the national second prize, the national third prize, and the national excellence Award. All of these demonstrated the outstanding style of our college and achieved unprecedented excellent results.
The China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition is a long-established and widely influential national academic competition. It is also one of the largest, most influential and highest-professional robot competitions in China. Since its launch in 1999, it has been successfully held for 26 sessions. It has now been included in the national ranking list of discipline competitions in regular institutions of Higher learning and the analysis report on college students' competitions in regular institutions of Higher Learning released by the China Association of Higher Education. The school-level competition of this event was hosted by the School of Physics and Electronic. The school-level competition organizing committee made extensive mobilization and meticulous organization. Among them, 65 teams were recommended to participate in the provincial competition. The teams that won the first and second prizes in the provincial competition participated in the national competition. The teams that participated in the national competition won a total of 22 national awards.
